I am SOOO excited about how "green" this card is for LSC198! I went to my annual Christmas party for my book group last night (I have been a member for over 17 years!). It was lovely. I thought that the paper and ribbon in which my book was wrapped were beautiful . . . I thought "Wouldn't these be great on a card?" Well . . . here ya go!! The purple paper with the gold little fleur-de-lys-looking things came from (of all places) IKEA!! It feels like pressed paper and is very wonderful! The ribbon was also around the book, so it was the perfect touch. (I got a collection of short stories by Ernest Hemingway, by the way . . . can't wait to read it!)
The coolest thing about this "green" card, though, is that the silver parts of my snowflake medallion piece are actually cut out of a soda pop can!! (Hooray for caffeine-free Diet Pepsi!)!! YUP!! I ran those soda pop cans through my trusty Wizard and came up with this! Super fun and environmentally friendly!!
Thanks for lookin'!

Wow Wendy...you really are a resourceful girl and quite clever if I might add! This is fantastic! Very nice job! Lucky girl, too; Ernest Hemmingway is one of my favorites. While others dreaded reading "The Old man and the Sea" I read it over and over! Love it! TFS
