oh, oh, oh this is beautiful! is there something special you have to do with the ink pad to get the woodgrain effect?? or just tap the pad multiple times lightly??? TFS!

You open the ink pad, turn it upside down, and carefully drag it in a line across the paper. You may have to play with it a bit, some papers take the ink more strongly, so you may need to let up. And the ink color makes a difference, too. Darker colors go lighter on the pressure, lighter colors, harder.
