Now ... Hers is a case of a case who followed Zindorf's tutorial ... found here ... Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I've changed images (mine is the pine tree from Lovely as a tree) and the layout flipped.
I realized that I'm silhouette challenged, so will need to rectify that immediately!
I also used a technique from the marvelously talented Zindorf to get my trees to fade into the background.
First, I masked the 'moon'. Then, I used Bashful, then Baja to stamp the trees & sponged the outer portion in layers from lightest in middle to darker outside edges. Last trees on outside are in black & sponged the Not quite Navy then the black in the corners.
Sentiment stamped directly onto BG cuz I didn't want it interferring with the moon. Matted on Bayou then black card base after tying black grosgrain ribbon.
Finished off with Diamond Stickles.
This card (for me) was all about creating the trees that faded into the moonscape so I didn't want to muddy it up w/images (Yeah, that's my story & I'm sticking to it).
My first attempt at this type of card, so I'm happy with it!
Thanks for looking ... and Thanks, annascreations for some wonderful inspiration.
