What to get for the man who has everything? My BIL is an avid golfer with a silly sense of humor. Doesn't need much and we've vowed to keep gifts under $10 this year.
Legend of the Magic Tee
Many many years ago in Scotland, a clan of golf loving leprechauns tended a special course where only kings and princes were allowed to play. The rolling hills and green lawns prospered under their arduous care. Each blade of grass of uniformly trimmed to perfection (often by hand) and sand traps and water holes dotted the glade in precise locations.
One day, a famous king was playing the course and his game was NOT going well. With curses and much angry sputtering, he lost his ball repeatedly. His swing drove gouges into the well tended lawn. He berated the poor leprechauns until they cried. Finally, with disgust, he declared the course would never be played again and ordered trees planted over all the land.
Now, these leprechauns still loved golf and deeply regretted the loss of the course. But they were dedicated to the game and found a way they could help. They grew the trees until tall and strong and tended them with care. Then, carefully, using only the strongest tips and lightest hands, they crafted the most magnificent tees. Then, in an ancient ceremony, they charmed the tees to bring good luck and perfect shots to any golfer lucky enough to use them. Alas, over the years, the leprechauns died out. But the tees remained.
Here's the OTT story:

So, I packaged up some golf tees in one of the wonderful window tins. The little book has a VERY silly story about these "Magic" Tees.
Quick and easy to do!
