I made this set of note cards, envelopes, and matching gift box for my mother for one of her birthday presents. The inspiration came from the blog “Dream in Color” as part of Sharon Johnson’s celebration of a million visits to her blog. This coincided perfectly with today’s “Ways to Use It” challenge, was to incorporate an envelope into a project.
I made six monogrammed note cards, 3 each of two different designs using coordinating papers from a winter and snowflake design stack. I stamped envelopes to match with a snowflake trail on the front lower left corner and a snowman and snowflake trail on the back flap. I used a matching piece of card stock to make the box. The large snowflakes were cut with the Cricut Expression; the smaller ones were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

This is a beautiful set of cards and I love the box too that you have set out in your next post. The colours are lovely and so is the combination of the snowflakes and the lace - a perfect match. I'll bet your mum will love these.
What cute set, beautiful layout. I'm rather partial to blue (in any shade) so they tend to attract my attention faster that any other color!
