Tim Holtz is hosting a 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge on his blog. This is my take on his Tag No. 2.
I squirted blue and purple alcohol inks along with a silver "metalic mixative" (all from Ranger) on a piece of wax paper. Then I dragged glossy white paper across it. I found a piece of the paper that I thought would make a good tag, and cut the tag shape out. The trees and church were stamped with VersaMark and embossed with black ink, then I added Martha Stewart's glittering glue and glitter to the trees and the church. A yellow chalk pen was added to the window. Then I took a tooth brush and put it in the silver mixative and sprayed a little snow on the scene. Finally, the dove was stamped on a separate sheet of glossy paper that had been dragged through blue alcohol ink and a pearl mixative, then cut out and popped up.
