I stamped the main image in Jet Black Stazon and watercolored with StampinÂ’ Up! inks, including the background shading.
I stamped a border of StampinÂ’ Up!Â’s Print Pattern background on the right edge of the postcard, with a second stamping slightly off-set from the first.
I stamped the little corner flourishes from FlourishesÂ’ Siberian Iris set in the right-hand corners, and a sentiment stamp from StampinÂ’ Up!Â’s Glad Tidings in the lower left corner.
I scraped the surface of my Timber Brown Stazon pad along all the edges of the panel to create a border of sorts.
Finally, I sprayed three coats of matte sealer over the image to protect it during mailing.

Wow, Leslie!!! This is really stunning! I love the vintage look and my mouth totally dropped to the floor when I read that you watercolored it with SU inks. I thought at first sight it must be copics. I need you to teach me to watercolor like that!!
