Here is a little container that I made for the Step It Up Challenge that mega talented Rhonda hosts over on the Addicts site. This month’s challenge was to make a treat container. I found a recipe for a 2-4-6 box on Nichole Heady’s blog (http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...2007/11/5.html) but instead of finishing it off as a basket, I cinched it shut at the top with ribbon and a double slot punch. I also used my Scor–Pal to score a line ½ way down the sides of the box (starting at the top of the box), so that it would be easier to close the container up at the top. The Scor-Pal made making this type a container so quick and easy! I made the colour scheme to be brown and green to match the Andes mint chocolates that will go inside. I love these chocolates…but I am only able to find them at Christmas time and only at Michaels…are they a “Christmas-only” kind of chocolate?
Happy Holidays!
Thank you for looking!

OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVE this!!! So stinkin cute!! What a fabulous idea to score the sides half way down you clever girl!! Where were you when I made wedding favors??? I love those Andes mints too! I don't think they're a Christmas candy, it used to be that restaurants would give those out with the bill way back when, those are my DH's fave, he'd tip extra if waiters gave us more than one a piece! TFS!
