Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Really Rust, Very Vanilla and Going Gray. I added Basic Black as a Neutral color.
Well...I have to admit it...Speedy the Cat is going gray! The vet thinks that the patches of fur that Speedy the Cat is licking off his body are actually GRAY FUR!!! He thinks Speedy the Cat is NUTS! I asked, "Ummmm...is that the "technical term" for his condition? NUTS????" LOL! The vet feels that Speedy just doesn't like the COLOR of the hair at the base of his tail...I think the VET is nuts and that the cat his Arthritis!
The pumpkin was stamped onto watercolor paper. I then used a Really Rust marker and colored around the LINES of the pumpkin. Next, I used an aqua painter to blend the color toward the center. When I was finished, I outlined the image again and cut it out! The stem was outlined in Basic Black marker and I used the aqua painter to TURN IT GRAY!
The prima was PAINTED with Really Rust re-inker. I then "painted" in Basic Black shading!
The center oval and background were run through a CB embossing folder. The ovals and Label diecuts were made with Nestibilities!
