I wanted to give my nephews cash for their birthday, and so I came up with these simple money holders.
Each piece of DSP is approx.: 6 3/4" x 5 3/4".
Score the piece with the longer side pointing up and down, at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". You may want to score the second score (at 5 1/2") even a tad bit further, to give it room to close the top flap.
For the center oval, measure the front flap at 2" and again at 3 7/8", making a few marks along each. Do this on the inside part that wont be showing. I then took my coluzzle oval and cut an oval out with the oval that would fit inside those marks the best. Try and even it up from the top to the bottom as well.
Glue along the edges, and there you go! I used my tombo multi purpose glue to create a removable seal along the top flap.
Used markers to color the stamps. Thanks for looking!
