This ornament was made for an invitation. The white down the center is the invitation printed on just plain printer paper. I used red line tape and put a solid line down the edge of the paper. I then attached a ribbon to it, rolled up the invite and put it in the ornament. The ribbon then comes out the top of the ornament so that the invite can be pulled out easily.
I used my crimper and crimped old olive cardstock a couple of times both ways to get it soft, then cut them in thin strips. Stuffed a few down in the ornament. The hanger ribbon is old olive 1/4" grossgrain and the red decrative is real red 3/8" grossgrain on most of them but I believe this one is one from Michaels. Sorry you can't see the ribbon too well.
The rub ons are from the two christmas packs in the stampin up mini catalog.

How clever of you to turn a traditional glass ball into an invitation. Especially nice touch with the ribbon for ease of retrieving the invitation; you thought of it all! TFS.
