 | | What a fun challenge!!
For today's challenge to use watercolor paper I decided to try embossing on watercolor paper - it was something I hadn't thought of doing before. I was hoping the textured paper would react with the ep.
I had some castoffs of watercolor paper to use - projects I had botched but keep on hand because you never know what can be redeemed. lol
I stamped the leaf panels with versaclear ink then embossed with black ep. The bg colors came through in the open leaf image and the black ep hid much of the "yuck". I particularly like the grainy texture of the watercolor paper showing through.
The panels are mounted on top of another castoff of watercolor paper which is framed with black cs.
The old olive bg was run through the CB and olive ink was sponged around the outside. A small square punch created the diamonds with rust brads in the centers.
The watercolor paper was from a pad from Michael's purchased for $1!
Thanks for looking!
