I have finally completed this sketch. My kids and I were sick, things come up, and now its time to get to stamping. I've been wanting to use this HM stamp since I got it from HL and I thought it work great for this sketch. I started out by stamping the image with black ink onto white cardstock. I colored it using Prismacolor pencils, Goo Gone, and blending stumps. I used the gold metallic pen for the trumpet and the halos. I added Diamond Dust to their wings and the ground. I also used a small amount of liquid applique for the outlines of the ground. I used clear embossing powder on the candycane. I used bliss blue and white c/s and ran it through the CB snowflake folder for the layout. The image is held on using dimensions. I punched out 2 snowflakes, glitter, and glue dots. I wanted the sentiment to have a musical note, so I decided to use the sentiment from the new Walmart clear stamps onto the window punch I used. This was really fun to color too. I had to flip the sketch in order for this image to fit. TFL!
I'm sorry for the bad photo, my camera is acting up again. Please look past that..Thanks!
I forgot to mention that I used the snowflake punch from Martha Stewart.
