Thanks Rox and "Justcrazy" for a great and easy sketch! I used my Woodland Santa and Forest Background stamps from High Hopes. I had thought I would do a watercolor, so I stamped it on WC paper. However, I somehow forgot my first intention and started coloring with Copics! Copics worked really well on the wc paper, so I didn't mind. The only thing I had to "fix" was after I was done, the background was too dark. So, I took some light Prismacolor pencils and went over areas I wanted to lighten. The texture of the paper actually added visible texture to the look of the trees, so I liked the effect.
TFL today!

Oh girl you're killing me with this fabulous card of yours! Oh, I just want to go and hide in my studio (as if I had one). Your bg is so totally fabulous! And look what you did with this Santa. Oh, to be you for just one week, I swear I'd be the happiest person this side of the mississippi! This is incredible. It's no wonder they snatched you up over there at high hopes! Yikes, is this ever a one of a kind work of art!
