I was so pleased when I saw Roxie's sketch this morning. I stamped this image for a challenge last week or the week before and never used it. And last night, while DH was doing something at my computer I coloured it in. I love the stamp, but it's too much colouring to do too often.
The base card is navy, with a layer of purple and silver music paper. The Penny Black image was coloured with watercolour pencils, and H2Os for the sheep and foreground snow - which doesn't show in the picture. I layered it onto blue card and sponged the edges with silver.
The little squares at the bottom are embossed metallic blue, again left over from another challenge. I layered them onto silver card and went round the edges with a blue Sakura Stardust pen. I punched some little stars out of a scrap of blue card, edged them with the Sakura Stardust pen and then wrote the letters for NOEL with a silver gel pen. The main image is up on foam.
