Here is one of the calendar squares for my DH in January.
This is also for the IFC13 challenge: Fun with 5 products. I had to really stretch my brain on this one. I used a piece of double sided patterned paper to get more colors on the LO. What's funny is that the PP was scraps from another LO I had done earlier, so I didn't have much of it left. I had to cut out what I had left of the flowers (which were mostly halves) and make it look like they were under the photo. Hope it looks ok.
I wanted to do something a little upbeat and cheerful, since it will be month 4 of 6 of my DH's deployment. I hope it doesn't come across as too girly. I am a little mad at myself because the rub on is crooked! ugh. I have to remind myself that it's ok if it's not perfect. I would sure like it to be though!

This is great. Awesome way to use just one sheet of DP. Nice page. Cute little lady too!

You did a great job, and your hubby will love it--and besides, why wouldn't he love a page that's a little girly when his two best girls are in the photos??? I love how much mileage you got out of the dp--and only you will notice the crooked rub-on--I sure didn't! That title is just the cutest--and so perfect!
