This was my first attempt at using Fantasy Fibres. I used just fibres for the snowflakes. I think if I had a big snowflake die, then I could have left the texture looser, but I was just using a punch, and if I left the fibres too open they just fell apart.
The gorgeous red textured paper was from Stamp Muse, and I am pretty sure the glimmer blue was too.
The base is a natural kraft card, with a layer of embossed shimmer card. The next layer is a combination of Fantasy film and fibre layered together - and very hard to capture on film. The ornament and hanger were cut with the Fiskars ShapeCutter and Christmas templates. For the hanger, I stuck some double-sided adhesive to the card before I cut it, and added glitter afterwards. A gem brad attaches it to the card, and that's it. In real life it really glows without being gaudy (IMO ).
