I had an incredible time going through Becca's gallery! I had gone through it before as well as her blog and she is an amazing talent! I debated about which creation to case and finally chose one of her beautiful fans here:
For my fan handles I used a spellbinders die that I have always thought looked like a mirror handle. I used nesties for the ovals but used dsp that I enhanced with a gold metallic pen. I sponged pretty in pink on all pieces and then did direct to paper with gold ink pad on all pieces. The scallop ovals and handles are cut out of chipboard for strength. The birds are Martha Stewart punched and again dtp'd with gold ink. I made a tassle (sort of!) with gold cord and added gold organdy and a tag. This will be for my wonderful mother's birthday in December!
Becca thanks so much for giving us such wonderful creations to enjoy and inspire! TFL!
