What a challenge this was, due to the fact that we were away down the South Coast and although I had squeezed all that I possibly could into my craft bag - I did not have the right colours for CC190, but I did manage to use something similar - so under the guise of 'artistic licence' please forgive me and hopefully my colours are near enough to be acceptable!!
I had nothing in the Tangerine Tango, just as well I managed to squeeze in the 'Crafters Block' of papers and the only thing in it anywhere near the colour was the DP with these clocks - so clocks it is!!! The Internet was not reliable at all at the beach, but I managed to sneak in a look at the challenges, but when I got home I realised that on CS200 it is squares not circles - please tred gently with me on this too!!! I distressed the circles around the clocks to disguise the freehand circles...I don't know what was more distressed by this time - the circles or me!
The Old Olive section was my attempt at a technique I saw in the most fabulous Art Store on
the Coast. Unfortunately the owner was not able to show me at the time and wasn't working the day I went back, so I have had a go myself....unfortunately mine looks more like sponged stripes where hers was like corrogated/crimped card. so effective that I had to touch it to see if it was real - if anyone has any information on this technique I would love to hear from you...until then, I will have to keep on trying!
I have tried to give this card depth and texture while keeping it feminine as well - something I have wanted to do with the clock theme...so I am happy!! I would love to know what you think....
Thanks for taking the time to stop and have a look - I appreciate it!!!
