Hello, I made this card for the Friday Challenge Hosted by Cindy Haffner on the Hanna Forum. We were to use snow of some kind!
Well I think it's time for a funny card!
The card base is blue bayou, with a layer of ruby red.
The image was stamped with burnt umber onto watercolour paper. I coloured her in with SU markers, and then masked her so I could stamp the bricks. Then I coloured the bricks, and covered them with crystal effects.
The trees were also stamped with the burnt umber, and I used a light wash of soft sky for the sky! The snow is covered with a subtle sparkle that you can't really see in the photo. I washed water over the snow, and then spread around the stardust pen with the water brush.
Some areas are also covered with dazzling diamonds.
The sentiment was made using the justrite letters.
My original plan was to have her surrounded by snowbanks, but then I decided I liked the snowflakes!
