Happy Wed. everyone! I love the sketch challenges on SCS... today's was fun to work with.
This has been Pastor appreciation month and our church is having a special dinner for our four pastors Sunday. I have been making four cards for ithem... so here is a sample.
I stamped my image (Lovely as a Tree) and sentiment (Pocket Silhouettes) in VersaMark and embossed in copper. I sponged the paper with So Saffron and Creamy Caramel. I cut the squares with my Nesties. Punched the leaves with a Martha Stewart leaf then put them on a light box and drew in the veins with a tiny stylus, then sponged TH Frayed Burlap on the edges and top to define the veins. They don't show in the photo but IRL they do show up better.
Glued the leaves onto the panels and punched random holes for brads. Ran the green metallic through the bug and added copper cording, assembled card and that's it.
Thanks for looking! Have a great day!

Wow! Grace, this is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Love the warm colors, sponging, the way you've turned the middle square at an angle, and all the fabulous details! Your pastor is going to LOVE this gorgeous creation!!!
