I had never seen a Kick Stand Card before, and I loved it so I had to try it!
I had 2 new stamp sets burning for some inking in my scrap/stamp room so I got them out.
I wanted to use Orange because I have seen a ton of cool cards using SU's Upsy Daisy set in orange, then I thought Perfect Plum, and Green Galore would make good complimenting colors to go along with it.
I also wanted to use my new and very 1st set I have ever purchased from Our Daily Bread Designs - Christian Flourishes.
So I started designing and this is what I came up with.
I have many more of the details and several cropped and detailed pictures to showcase all the elements of this card on my Blog:
1. I do not have my Big Shot yet (coming soon Yea!!)
so I have not been able to do any of the cool embossing with the cuttlebug folders I see all the time and absolutely love, or any die cuts I love as well.
So when I went to search thru my Paterned Paper I found this lovely Velvety Swede soft paper in the color I needed Perfect Plum type shade. The paper feels and looks heavinly and it has all this wonderful embossing on it which gave me the cuttle bug feel I can not wait to try!
2. I loved the 3 different ribbons I found to use on the sentiment part of the card!
3. I love the Jesus Fish flourishes I was able to use in this card, and I love the Upsy Daisy Flowers too!
I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think!
Have a Great Day,
Heather
