I joined two swaps, one was to make a "Z fold card" and the other was to make a card using only Black and olive green. I was able to combine the two and get a really eye catching card.
I started with a black base, scored (Score-Pal) to make the Z fold. Then I adheared scrapbook papers in olive green to each section of the fold. I used the marvey mega and giga scallop punches for the focal point, which overlaps and hangs out in the open from the center. I used the leaves from wonderful you and added lots of 3-d mounting tape to give this lots of dimension. The final touch was to add Cuttlebug corners die cut in black, then some 1/4" olive green hole punches stacked on top of each other (faux brad); and added a little crystal glaze for more dimension.
Be sure to take a look at the "open view" too, so you can see the inside.
