This is a not very imaginative card for today's TLC, paper napkin transfer.
We just can't get the freezer paper Lynn used here - I can't even get waxed paper, for goodness sake. I'm reduced to using burger-sized circles when I really, really need waxed paper. I tried two different types of baking parchment, and cling wrap, and two types of serviette and none of those worked. So I just used spray-mount. Then I spilt my water jar all over my first three stamped and coloured images, so by the time I got all that cleared up, I was running out of go. So I stamped my Flower for All Seasons again and painted it again.
The base card is 4 1/4 inches square textured gold card. I trimmed a square of background napkin for the next layer. I sponged the edges of the stamped image with Cranberry pigment ink and added another layer of gold. The sentiment is a Christmas word from Buttons Galore, attached with two red mini brads.
I do have a couple of flowers cut out so I may be back with another card later on.
Thanks for the new technique, Lynn, even if this one was harder than usual to find substitutes for. Plus I inherited so many linen napkins from my grandmother that we hardly use paper ones. Linen or kitchen paper!!

Sabrina, it sound like you had quite a challenge making this card. I like how the gold looks. The little cardinal that you framed looks so cute. Great job persevering !

A lovely festive card - the gold really looks luxurious and rich with that gorgeous napkin. Wtg on persevering! I have an easy, tried and tested alternative method for using napkins on cards so I have sent you a PM. Hope you try that out!
