I originally made this card for an OCC challenge, but I realized this morning that I never uploaded it to Splitcoast...duh! So, here it is...perfect timing for Erika's Gina K Land Cruisers Challenge.
To get the aged greenish look on the three chipboard panels, I began by inking the chipboard up with Sage Shadow Craft Ink and a sponge dauber. Once that dried completely, I swiped some Vanilla Craft Ink across the top with another sponge dauber. Then I set those aside to dry. It gives them an aged wood look. For the little tag, I did just the opposite. I sponged Vanilla Craft ink, let it dry, then swiped Sage Craft ink and let that dry. Then I sponged the edges of the tag with Chocolate Chip, and stamped the word on Chocolate Chip as well.
That beautiful orchid comes from Gina K's Botanical Dreams stamp set by Asela Hopkins. I colored the image with ink pads and a blender pen on watercolor paper. The final touch was to add Crystal Effects to the entire flower image.
