I decided to jump in and try a Unity challenge. This card is for the Wednesday Hip Hop Challenge Oct. 22, 2008. The challenge was to use ribbon, a clear element, and a stamp from my most recent order from Unity. I used the "School Time Ruler" stamp from my last order for the background of the card. I stamped it with green Colorbox Chalk ink on 3 various green cardstock and cut out. I then ran them through my Zyron and attached them at an angle to my card. Next I used the journaling box from my Sept. kit of the month which was stamped in the same green ink and cut out also. I then stamped the "happy birthday" from the "Whimsical Birthday" set. I only wanted the words so I inked up each word separately using a Black Momento Dew Drop pad. I then doodled some black accents to the wording. I stapled some green ribbon(SU!) to the journal box and also attached a clear button with black thread to the journal box. The journal box was attached to the card with dimensionals(SU!). The inside greeting is not shown, but says "Hope your day really measures up!"
