Our stamping club's monthly challenge is to make your very best Christmas card using the In Colors only with one neutral color. I am really not sure if this DP disqualifies me but I do like the way it turned out.
I combined two new Christmas sets and they look like they belong together! Ice skaters in front of a pond near a little snow-covered home. I stamped everything in black. I lightly highlighted the snow on the roof of the home with a blender pen and Baja Breeze, I covered the 'pond' with clear EP and Dazzling Diamonds. The sky is sponged with Baja Breeze, but it doesn't show in the photo. I used an SU marker in Bashful Blue to create swirls on the pond. The image oval is mounted on Baja Breeze. The skaters are stamped in black and cut out. They are colored with a blender pen and ink pads. They are lifted with double dimensionals to give the appearance they are skating on a pond. The DP has an oval cut out and is lifted on dimensionals. The snowflake is stamped in Baja Breeze stamped off once. Sakura embossing pen highlights the snowflake along with clear stickles. It is punched with the scallop punch and sponged in Baja Breeze. Riding Hood Red striped ribbon is looped behind the scallop.
What do you think? Do I have a chance at winning the Stampers10 challenge?

OK if I did not know you, I might dislike you. Your gallery is sooooo beautiful. I haven't been here in awhile. You have done a large amount of absolutely wonderful cards.
