I made this card for my gorgeous cousin who is battling breast cancer for the 2nd time in 7 years - she is so young, fit and healthy so it came as a shock to her and her young family. So, that's why I chose pink as the main colour.
Emboss piece of dark pink and white cs with Swirls ef. Punch green cs with Mega scallop punch and pierce holes, punch pink cs with Super Jumbo punch, and punch white cs with Kasazz punch and glue together. Using free papers from UK Making Cards magazine, cut out 1 x paper butterfly and glue on. Cut out 1 x vellum butterfly and attach only centre part with vellum tape so wings stand up and add Kindyglitz to wing edges and on green inner part. Attach ribbon then adhere butterfly circles to card with 1mm mounts. Round card corners with corner punch. Stamp sentiment on white cs and emboss with Clear sparkle ef and round corners; add green brads to sentiment - add tiny circle-punched pink centres to brads and add Kindyglitz. Ink edge of white cs with Orchid and mount with 1mm mounts.
Thanks for having a peek!!
