Today's Featured Stamper (ink-e a/k/a Emily) was unknown to me, so I had lots of fun looking through her gallery. I chose this Autumn beauty -- autumn glory by ink-e at Splitcoaststampers -- as my inspiration. I kept most of the layout, although I did make a few changes:
* My card is not square
* As I had rotated the card, I couldn't just tear off the end. So I cut back a little bit at the top and then tore down the side. I glued a piece of contrasting cardstock under the tear and took it all the way through to the inside back panel.
* I changed the theme from Autumn to Christmas, using the mistletoe image from Peaceful Wishes.
* Because of the longer card, there was a lot of white space which I thought I should fill up. So I added a vertical sentiment.
