I was pretty excited when my neighbour asked if I could do a journal for her coworker who is going to Africa for a nursing project. This isn't what started out in my head, but out it came! lol.
The ribbon down the left side is a pagemarker to slip between the pages when she's finished an entry. I made a little pocket on the inside liner if she keep little tags, tickets etc.
The black paper does have some travel/postage images stamped with versamark, tho it's hard to see in this pic.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Wonderful use of different stamps. I love how you created the distressed 'travelled' look. The sentiment is just perfect for this travel journal. I can't believe you're not getting more comments from this. Amazing work, Arleen!!
