Ok most of us know how hard to do male cards are.. ok ok well I know how hard it is *sigh* BUT
BUT and I say BUT I SO really like how this card came out.. even my DH was like WHOA!!!!!!!!!
It just sorta fell together actually.. uhm I used this so wonderful site: http://www.scraptitude.com/colorcombo/
to play with the color ideas. I knew I wanted Brown .. sooooo that is how I came up with River Rock.. Blue Bayou, Really Rust, and Always Artichoke, and Choc Chip.. erm but uhm the only real brown turned out to be my Timber Brown Stazon... LOL.. erm of course I used Close to Cocoa on the tree tho..
(remember long winded in explaining)
uhm I found in one of my drawers the template for the reverse masking .. I had already decided to do the crayon resist tho.. so as I said.. it just fell into place.
The background well I wasnt sure so broke out the new CB folder Distressed Stripes.
The twine & eyelets well ok.. you know just happened.
Anywhoooooooooo I really like how this card came out. I have not touched my stamping stuff in over 3 months just due to a well "funk" so for this to come out the way it did I'm VERY pleased *does snoopy dance*

I like this combination of image and the embossed background. The twine is a nice choice as well. The rounded corners on the main image panel and the distressed edges are nice finishing touches.
