This was a fun and challenging sketch Roxie - Thanks!
I embossed the word Peace onto a piece of black cs, then painted over it with cream, then blue, the silver acrylic paint - letting each color dry before adding the next color.
Once everything was dry, I took a damp cloth and went over the piece to remove the paint from the embossed area. Finally, I cut it out using a coluzzle.
I've been wanting to experiment with non-traditional holiday colors....not sure if this is really non-traditional, but I like how it turned out anyways. TFL! |
