 | | This is my card for Sunday's Featured Stamper - Anne Ryan.
I'm sorry this is late Anne! We've had a holiday wknd here in Canada and then my camera has been a bear to work with.
I took inspiration from your lovely card found here:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=139109
I changed the card size to a 5.25" square & the colors. I also took liberty with redesigning the flower.
The card base is always artichoke cs. There is a leaf image from SU's Brocade Basics which is stamped around the outer edge.
I've layered choc chip and always artichoke cs with some different dsp. The flower is made by running a piece of the same dsp through my CB using a Swiss Dots folder then cutting the ovals out with a Creative Memories CCS. I lightly sponged choc chip ink on the petals closest to the flower center and over the raised dots.
The stem is cut with an oval pattern from the same CCS.
I added brads, a chocolate ribbon (I hear you're fond of chocolate!) and a doodle line.
I'm always grateful for your comments on my cards and hope this gives you some pleasure today!
Thanks for looking!
