I'm lovin' sketches/layouts with circle layers, and Beate put a great one together last Friday on her blog. Blogs at Splitcoaststampers I decided to use it for my Wish-RAK Group October Card Contest - Think Pink card for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. (My Wish-RAK item is the Inkadinkado Duet image from peebsmama.) I lost my mother to breast cancer 15 years ago next month (she was only 53), so this card is in her memory.
My card base is Rose Red cs layered with Bali Breeze designer paper. I cut a large Rose Red circle with my Nestabilities, applied 4 strips of 1" wide Sticky Strip and dumped on those luscious pink microbeads. I wrapped the circle with white taffeta ribbon and adhered it to the card. I colored the sweet birds with SU markers, highlighed the flowers' centers with a Gelly Roll Stardust Pen and cut out the image with a circle Nestability. It's layered on a Rose Red scalloped circle also cut and embossed with a Nestability and attached to the card with Dimensionals. The heart chipboard piece was smashed into my White Craft Ink Pad. When it was dry, I stamped LOVE with Craft Cameo Coral ink and added the three rhinestones. I love how this little piece turned out. It looks flocked in real life. Finally, I pierced and faux stitched around the large beaded circle.

OH, boy, I've been drooling over this stamp, but this card puts me over the edge. How beautiful this image is for a Valentine's card. Your coloring, and the beading, is stunning.

What a pretty card and I like how you colored the image in with pinks and reds. Sorry about your mother. But how nice that you are doing something to help your future generations not have to go through this.
