 | | This card is for 2 challenges;
Tracy’s (http://eatsleepstamp.typepad.com/) sketch challenge that she posts every Thursday. I made her sketch into a pocket card to hold a gift card for a baby girl. I made an extra insert so that you could see what it looked like when you pulled out the little chick. The gift card (just took what I could find in my wallet…didn’t have time to go to Baby Gap to get one of their gift cards) is attached with a glue dot on the back. You don’t even have to use a gift card…can write a message on the insert instead.
Heather’s (http://onelittlespark.typepad.com/) Share Your Spark that she posts every Friday. This week’s Spark was to use a stamp in a way that it wasn’t necessarily intended. Eg; a non Hallowe’en stamp on a Hallowe’en card. I thought I could use my Easter stamp of the little chick hatching on a new baby card. Do you get it? Chick hatching = baby coming into the world? I didn’t have a “welcome baby” stamp, so used my JustRite Curlz font to spell out the sentiment (using the JustRite rectangle wooden stamper). The sides of the pocket card are faux stitched and there’s raspberry liquid pearls on each scallop.
Thank you for looking!
