This is for today's Inspiration Challenge - and perfect because I need an anniversary card for my amazing DH. Today's artist is incredibly talented - my inspiration came from the "love letter" sample - link here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
So, my card started with the inside - a love letter (poem) to my DH. The outside is a collage/pictoral of sorts - relating to the poem and our lives together.
It's titled - "The first 14 years"
The timing just right
Each full of life
Changes ahead
You made me your wife
A wonder to me
You made me your star
You gave me the key
To unlock your heart
Many chapters Many seasons
Every one for a reason
Each made to fulfill
This wonderful journey called life
Thank you for every moment!
The poem is printed on very vanilla, shaded along the edges in the same red as on the card front, and matted in black.

What a touching gift ... my dad always write poems to my step-mom on special days and when she died, he found she had placed them all in their safety deposit box ... now he treasures them all again ... and your marvelous collage illustrates the poem so beautifully ... wonderful.
