My aunt and uncle are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary this month and when I saw this layout in the Papercrafts magazine I knew I wanted to do it, even thoughit was more intricate than any thing I think I've ever done.
Started with Riding Hood red base and painted with very vanilla craft ink to distress it.
THe lower layer is naturals ivory stamped in choc. chip with the French Script background and distressed with cc ink.
The scalloped layer is the new scalloped edge punch and then I punch smaller holes in each scallop using a hand help circle punch (not sure of the size)
The dotted layer is bella rose paper stamped ith the flourish from Baroque motifs (white craftink)
The tag is naturals ivory and cc again. Stamps also from Baroque MOtifs. Did the cracked glass technique and also distressed it with choc chip craft ink (rubbed ink in the cracks) . The top is choc. chip satin ribbon, a build-a-brad base and a half pearl from the pretties kit
Next is the faux postage, again Baroque Motifs and cc ink, this time I brushed it with aztec gold pearlX (remember PearlX? ), drew the postage edge with a sharpie and cut the scallop withthe postage /stamp Fiskars decorative scissore. I made a mask for this out of acetate too.
