Hello, I made this for the challenge #3 on the GinaK forum hosted by Jessica (jessjean). We were to dry emboss on glossy cs & then colour using a brayer or sponges. I used a brayer, and this is a really cool technique! I love the look on the glossy white.
The card base is riding hood red.
First I ran the glossy cs through the CB with the branchy leaf EF. Then I rolled on 3 colours with the brayer individually. So saffron in the middle, old olive next towards the edges & then always artichoke.
I cut the glossy paper in four, and matted with black.
The image was stamped on white with noir black pallete. I coloured it in with SU markers. The main image is matted & poped up.
I used circle punches & nesties for the sentiment, and added black gingham to finish it off.
I am really happy with how this turned out, and I'm sure I'll be trying this technique again!
TFL!
