I finally took the plunge and made a Zindorf sky!!
It's hard to make a card with no embellishments, but when you do a sky like this, who needs them?
To make the stars, I used a Papertrey stamp, colored some of the stars from the Wise Owl set with my Versamarker, stamped them and repeated until I had enough of them. I embossed using clear detail powder. The colors I used in the sky are, from lightest to darkest: Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Lovely Lilac, and Elegant Eggplant.
I liked the idea of this cute owl sitting on a branch, and tried to get the feel of a Halloween night when the kids are all trick-or-treating. I pictured this owl sitting on his perch watching all of the kids getting their goodies. I think this is just what he would be thinking: "What a hoot!". I didn't really like the look of a bare branch, so I stamped a couple of leaves, stamping some of them off to give dimension, and putting some falling. There's always a few leaves left on the trees on Halloween night.

This card really caught my eye. That background technique is perfect for a NO, NO, NO challenge.
