I loved this challenge, today, Taylor...it really made me think about the weight of each piece on my card. I hopefully rose to the occasion. Thanks very much to your little daughter for being the inspiration!!!
My big son comes home this afternoon for the weekend...the first time in 6 weeks! The refrig is full of his favorite Mom foods, his bed is freshly made and to say I can't wait, is an understatement! I've had this Paper Bag Studio image for months...waiting for just this right time...todays's the day! I inked it with Memento inks in Paris Dusk for the jeans part and Rich Cocoa for the rest. I used Neenah smooth cream for the paper. The top mats are from Basic Greys Granola paper group. I distressed the edge with a combination of my fingernails (I know horrid use of my nails) and the MM edge distresser. I deckle cut the image also. The card base is Pacific Point that has SU old world map stamped on it with Archival Sepia ink. I used the slit punch to pop some of the image. The heart is an Inkadinkadoo that was stamped onto the Neenah cs with TH di aged maghony and embossed in clear. I popped it on foam.
We're all anxious to have our family complete, even if just for a few days. Happy Weekend everyone!

This is terrific Susan. My mom's heart is very happy for you. I am wishing to see my girls. It has been 10 weeks for me. Soon... Love the blues on this card. I think these are the perfect colors for a pair of old jeans. Great use of this challenge. Have fun.
