I made a Christmas card in 2006 (in my gallery) called Vintage Swedish Christmas. I created the background using Swedish words associated with Christmas using various fonts. I decided to use that background again. However this card is much brighter and reminds me of clothing found in the children’s store “Hanna Anderson.”
I sponged Riding Hood Red ink on the mittens to give it more depth. I think it makes the mittens stand out. The font for *Our Warmest Wishes* is called PegsannaHMK.
Here are all the words for the Christmas Swedish background:
Julgran (Christmas Tree) * tomtebloss (Sparkler) * glögg (Mulled Wine) * pepparkakor (Gingerbread) * hjärtan (Heart) * mandlar (Almond) * russin (Raisin) * angel (Angel) * glitter (Tinsel) * nötter (Nut) * God Jul (Merry Christmas) * jultomte (Santa Claus) * mistel (Mistletoe) * kanel (Cinnamon) * ljus (Candle) * rimfrost (Frost) * risgrynsgröt (Rice Pudding) * snögubbe (Snowman) * snöflinga (Snowflake) * julesnö (Christmas Snow) * ren (Reindeer) * julklapp (Christmas Present) * familj (Family)
