My simple take on the My Favorite Things Oldies Plus Goodies Challenge 2 for this week.
I used the rose red, traded basic grey for the black, used a portion of a carousel note rather than the scalloped edge, dotted the note instead of the dots from the lower card portion, used baja breeze in the bg as the main image on the CASE card did, also picked up the olive color from the copy card (I used kiwi), added the ribbon going across the card, and I added silver bells dew drops in the corners. whew - I think that is it!
I did sponge craft white over the pot to help distress it, also used the white gel pen to help 'pop' the white on the flowers. The baja carousel note has also been sponged in white and the textured rose card base has dtp craft white, too.

Welcome to the Challenge World. You will soon find out it's an addiction -- as is everything else about this hobby! You card is very nice. I like the carousel note in the corner.
