I don't normally think of a squirrel with a necklace when I think of charms! I would think more of the beautiful charms that Anne Ryan uses on her fabulous cards!!! But, since I am in California, anything goes baby! So, that is why I have a crazy squirrel all decked out with a charm necklace......details.......
Starting from the bottom up.....
1. On a white card, I stamped my square stamp around the edges, then sponged with bashful blue.
2. Cut a panel of kiwi kiss cs, sponging the edges with kiwi kiss ink.
3. On my bg scene, since I had some extra pickets left over from the fence I did earlier in the week, I decided to make another fence. So I lightly drew it, and then painted it with acrylic paints adding the lines and shading the planks. (I'm just teasing with you here, I didn't really have left over fence pickets!) Sponged the grass area, adding some grass and bushes on the fence. Sponged the sky blue and stippled some clouds using acrylic paint.
4. Stamped my tree stump, then stamped the leaves all over the tree top, coloring with the koh-i-noor pencils blending w/gamsol. Look like my squirrel made it over the fence from before and into the tree all the while keeping his charm necklace on! What a guy! Colored him too with the pencils and blending w/gamsol. Put the acorn charm, that I got from my wonderful sister, on some wire and put it on my squirrel. I then put glossy accents on all the leaves. After it dried, I cut the whole tree/squirrel out popping it up on top of my background.
Stamped the sentiment leaving off the "about you" part, sponged edges kiwi kiss and added the orange brads. Well, there you have it in a nut shell!.......TFL :0)

ahhhhh. I see Kittie helped you with your fence. I LOVE this scene. How cute is this. I have not seen this squirrel in a tree. Where did you ever find that charm. You have such a unique style and I just love it. TFS
