Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Charms. We were to use a CHARM on a card.
Well...We've had a pretty terrible week at our house. We've had a flood, a toilet explode, a drainfield "break"...... And, last night, the hot water heater had an "electrical problem." That means, CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All this week, Markie's dad, (my husband), has kept his cool. He has played Wii with Markie, gone to scouts, cooked, and NEVER raised his voice!
So, in honor of our DAD, I made this card! The PRETZEL is a charm I've had for um.....12 years??? I CUT off the bale with a pair of scissors.
The image was stamped in Noir Black Palette ink and colored with markers. The ovals are Nestibilities.

Awesome, AS USUAL!!! Love that pretzel, the dp choices, the dots, and those screw brads turned to look like kisses!! (could never think of a use for those other than Frankenstein bolts!!!) With all those details, it seems so much bigger than a 4 1/2" square card!

Oh Faith, what a week! I'm sure we can all relate. Well, this is a cool card and Markie's dad is a cool dad amidst all the chaos. Take care of yourself.

I can't see anything except the thumbnail yet - your bad luck is still with you. Stressful sounds like a major understatement. OK, there are always people worse off, but your week would be bad enough if it were spread over a year!! I'll catch the card on your blog later...
