This card showcases basically everything I bought from the new Holiday Mini! Alpine felt ribbon & the stamp set Home for Christmas. I am so regretting not getting the felt snowflakes though!
I had designed this thinking Christmas SAS, but the watercoloring took me forever. Can you imagine the groans I would hear if my ladies had to do 4 or more of these? I had fun doing this, but hate that I was almost done then seriously regretted the black hinges and light fixture plate... so in desperation I grabbed the only thing that would likely color over them, an old silver gel pen that actually worked. I tried gold first and it wouldn't write. Anyway, I may try this again with only coloring the wreath or door or something to see if I can simply enough for a SAS. What do you think?? TFL!

I think this card is absolutely Georgeous!!
Maybe use it for a watercolour class or specail Christmas card class and just each make one instead of a SAS.

This is hard to simplify because it looks so beautiful all colored. The good thing is that lots of things are the same colors. Like green brown and red. I used Bashful Blue to just emphasize the snow on the lines and in the feet prings. I also used stickles (or craystal effects and dazzling diamonds) on the lines and in footprints. BUt, that' adding more work isn't it? duh. well, it's hard....

I think you did an EXCELLENT job with this stamp set. I know because it's my favorite in the mini and I HAD to have it...much to my disapointment, I struggled to come up with a card that had the right layout and coloring that gave the stamp life. Well, I finally had to set it aside and get creative with other stamp sets, leaving this one for another time. I've put your card into my favs for inspiration later.
