 | | Great sketch again! It's feeling like fall these days, so why not make a fall card! I made myself cut into my Sweet Always paper....if I let something new set too long, I'll get greedy and want to horde it.
I love Pumpkin Pie, but I am usually afraid to put it into my cards.....except at this time of year. I love the little bit of pink in there on the dp, just to mix things up a bit! I also like the crisp paper contrasted to this sketchy line art on the stamps.
I like to be frugal with my paper. If I can punch something (or in this case cut) from the layers, I do! So the large pumpkin is cut from the bottom layer of p.pie, the small pumpkin is from the corner of the dp that is covered, and the same goes with the leaf. The ovals were punched from the top layer of p.pie. That's one more reason to like a sketch like this!
If I wanted to use up more paper, or lighten up the inside of the card....(I rarely use a dark shade for the base) I would make the base p.pie, and add a c.chip panel.
