Well.....this card totally evolved from that bright bit of sunshine in the upper right hand corner of the card......When I went down to work on this card, that piece was staring me in the face.....then I remembered this sentiment stamp I had yet to put to ink.....and it grew from there. As many of you know, I love the ocean and lighthouses.......and well, this card is a reflection of that love.
Obviously, I flipped the sketch on its side......all because of that sun.....
I must say that I like the results and really like the sketch. Will definitely be trying to find a bit more time to play in the morning between chores and commitments.

Wow! This is a great card with beautiful coloring! Love that sentiment....it reminds me of another favorite ('the mighty oak was once a nut that helds its ground')...in other words, mighty things often start out with very small ideas. :-)

Oh wow! This one is a beauty! I love the shore too.... used to live in Maine and sure do miss the beach! Long walks on the beach are hard to beat! Love all the different elements you worked into this grouping! It's fantastic!!!
