Here is my card for the Try a New Technique challenge - Glitter Surprise. You can see the instructions for this technique here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I chose the unusual Gable Green color because the only colored glitter I had was lime sherbet and you were supposed to use similar colors for your glitter and CS!
I stamped the bg with Pine Needles and Cones by Cornish Heritage farms using a Palette Stamp and Stick glue pad. Than I covered the panel with my glitter - tapped it off and let it dry. After it was dry I brushed over it with a soft brush as per the instructions. My sentiment is cut with my petite rectangle nestabilities and attached over the ribbon with foam dimensionals.
I stamped the tiny holly by Amuse and punched it - colored the berries red and attached over the sentiment with a foam dimensionals.
I love how sparkly this card is - what a fun new technique Lynn!
