I love this image of the Mackinac Bridge! I lived in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a couple of years and traveled over this bridge frequently. Now I'm a troll (as in... I live under the bridge!) I only get to cross it occasionally. But it's such an awesome piece of human engineering. One year on Labor Day we walked it, the 5 mile span, and I really grew to appreciate just how awesome it is!
Thanks, Emily, for sharing this image with me!

I'll always be a Michigander in my heart (now I live in Ohio) and knew immediately which bridge that was before reading your post! I'm not a yupper...I grew up in mid-Michigan. However, the bridge and the island hold very, very fond memories for me! Thanks for sharing!!

I agree...one of the MOST awesome bridges anywhere! Great place to live or visit too. Thanks for sharing, wish you knew who made the stamp. I also lived in Michigan for about 20 years...now warm in Mexico! NO awsome bridges...Margaritas!

Hi, Your card caught my eye right away. I have that view from my living room window. Just a little different angle. We live 10 miles south of the bridge in Levering Michingan. We can see the bridge and water from our house, we live up on a big hill.
So I guess I am a troll too..... I love to stamp, quilt, bake, garden and all those things.

I don't have any ties to Michigan (except I guess I do have relatives there) but your card is FANTASTIC!! Love the bridge, it's a great stamp not to mention what a great job you did with it! Fun!!

I love your card and would love to know who makes the stamp! The site of the Big Mac (bridge not sandwich!!) is so comforting, I know we are almost home when we are traveling. I live in the western part of the Upper Peninsula, and just like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz.... there is no place like U.P.(home)!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!
