After making the girl scout scrap books, I had lots of this green left over and it was about 3 inches wide. I didn't want to throw it away and I didn't want to save it, so I used it up.
My note card holder follows Christina's directions exactly. My CS is from Hollos and I call it "Spring Green" but it matches pretty closely to SU Gable Green. The DP is from SU. For my image, I used photo cs, stamped my image in versamark, covered with clear EP, then I sponged the entire thing with SU Bliss Blue(Yep, my set of Soft Subtle Spots is old enough to have that color)
I added eyelets and ribbon to complete the holder.
For my cards, I used 2 sets, both SU sets - Merci and Friendship Blooms. Scored my lines with my TopScore multiboard, some are embossed with my CB and the borders folders (I love those!)
Now, my cards should be 3 x 3, but I could not find 3 x 3 envies, but did find a little larger than 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 and got, I think it was 250, for 3 dollars.
I didn't have to adjust the size of the holder at all, and got to use up my scraps.
This entire project took half an hour tops.
